It's that time of year again when those dreaded ticks are out and unfortunately for some parts of the country you need to be even extra careful because they are more dense in these areas. So what can we do?? Well we can do our best to PREVENT and REPEL ticks from evening landing on us in the first place! We have had great success with our all natural approach to repelling ticks using geranium as our base ingredient. Interesting fact: in 2013 the Food and Chemistry Journal conducted a study which indicated geranium was just as effective as DEET in repelling ticks and it is recommended by holistic veterinarians as safe for dogs. No matter what product you choose, we always recommend that you check your kids and dogs after playing outside to ensure they are tick free.

Ingredients: rose geranium (graveolens and roseum) apple cider vinegar, distilled water, alcohol or glycerin

Application: Spray on adults, children and dogs before going for nature walks, playing in the yard. Can be used on skin or clothing. I prefer to spray the feet area, the hip area, and the hair. Do not not get on face or in your eyes.

Advice: Make sure no matter what product you are using to check your kids and dogs for ticks after being outside to play.
