Every child is different, most go from Stage 1 to Stage 4 in a few weeks. Here's what's normal at each step so you know exactly what you're looking at.

Stage 1

The Reaction

After the first few days of using Clear Skin (or for some kids, the first couple of weeks), the bumps start to get red. Some moms describe them as angry-looking.

Hi, I'm Angela Hill, founder of Wellaroma.

I started this company over a decade ago after going back to school to become a certified aromatherapist.

I'm a mom of three, and I've spent most of my adult life formulating natural products for families.

Our life and business took a turn a few years ago when one of my casual TikTok videos about Clear Skin went viral.

How long until the core comes out?

This is personal and varies kid to kid. Not every core comes out.

For some kids, the bumps get red, swollen, and enlarged and never have a core surface. For others, the core comes out within a few days, and the healing process starts from there.

Both situations are normal.

Do I need to cover the bumps with Band-Aids?

In general, you don't have to. You apply the cream and let it soak in.

If your child keeps touching or scratching the bumps, covering them can help. But it's not required for the cream to work.
