Lotion means standing there cold, waiting to get dressed, and feeling sticky. Most of us give up on it. This oil goes on in the shower, while your skin is still wet, so moisturizing happens before you even reach for the towel.

Will it feel greasy?
It's applied to wet skin, so it spreads thin and absorbs as you pat dry. Use a small amount. That's the most common surprise in our reviews: “I thought it would have an oily feel but it did not at all.” (Katie, Ohio). If you feel any slickness, you used too much. Start with less.
Do I still need lotion?
For most people, no. That's the point. Customers tell us they use it “everywhere I used lotion.” For extra-dry spots like heels and elbows, you can layer our Lavender Orange Body Butter on top.
Is this a body wash or cleansing oil?
No. Keep using your regular body wash. This is a leave-on moisturizer: it goes on last, after you've rinsed, and stays on your skin.
Will my shower floor get slippery?
Any oil can make surfaces slippery. Apply with the water off, stand on a mat if you have one, and give the floor a quick rinse after. A little goes a long way, so you don't need much.
Will it stain my clothes or towels?
Pat dry, don't rub, and give it a minute before putting on clothes. Using just a little oil keeps transfer low. As with any oil, wash towels regularly.
I'm sensitive to scents. Is it strong?
