How the Cream Works

IT'S ACTUALLY REALLY SIMPLE:  The cream is designed to create a localized response to the virus sending a signal to the immune system that it has a job to do. It's completely all natural using highly effective anti-viral essential oils combined with nature's  fresh water "soil" to create the perfect formulation to assist the immune system to kick this virus to the curb.

What to Expect

THE HEALING STAGES (Average Heal Time 4-8 Weeks)

We always like to plant the expectation that this will take between 4-8 weeks to heal. We have MANY, MANY reviews of children healing within 2-3 weeks. We love to see these results and are soooo happy for these families, especially those who have been suffering for months and even years with this virus. But we like to stress that is not the norm for everyone. Everyone has a different healing journey and its important to be consistent with the cream and to treat this virus like you would a cold or any other virus; by cutting back on junk food and sugar and boosting immune system with healthy foods and supplements.

STAGE ONE:

After the first few days of using the cream, or for some it could be the first couple of weeks, the MC bumps are starting to get red. Some people would say they could be getting angry. It is normal during this reaction stage for them to get red and swollen. During this stage they could cause some mild itching, though this is not common, but no need for concern in this stage if its mild. If your child continues to touch them or they are slightly itchy we commend covering them with band aids or using lavender essential oil or our Lush Skin cream to help mitigate any itch or touching.

STAGE TWO:

The bumps are getting more red and inflamed. Most say they look swollen and angry at this point and getting ready to pop. Some actually skip this phase and the bumps rescind back in and don't pop. The core is were the infection exists. So getting the core out is great, but also can cause spread. So make sure to treat the bump perimeter for a couple of days after they pop.  Some times the core doesn't come out and the body absorbs it and destroys it. That is normal too. This virus has a journey and that journey can look different for everyone, but we do see common occurrences. During this stage when they all seem to be ending their life cycle is when you can see eczema come into play. This happens for roughly 39% of kids with MC (especially if they are prone to eczema) , based on a new study. If your child is getting red itchy skin around the MC bumps, then we highly recommend using our lush skin cream to help heal the eczema flare up.

STAGE THREE & FOUR:

The third and the final stage. The core has now come out or the bump has rescinded. This stage is the drying out stage. This stage the bump dries up and looks similar to a scab. This is the time you can cut back on the cream or stop it completely. Let the body continue to heal itself. If you find that have scarring from this or the scab is taking longer to heal, please consider our scar roller or even our lush skin cream to help the skin turn over and heal quicker. Scarring can happen with this virus - both pigmentation and indentation scars, but not common for most.

WHAT MAKES YOUR PRODUCT DIFFERENT FROM OTHER NATURAL REMEDIES I HAVE TRIED? 

Our formula has been created to boost your child's immune system to fight off the virus. We like to say the cream acts as a beacon shining the light to the immune system by creating a localized response to call in the fighter cells, in addition to helping boost the over all immune system. The anti-viral components of this blend supports your body systematically not just locally to help combat the virus.

HOW LONG WILL IT TAKE TO HEAL?

Everyone is different, but we say typically 6-8 weeks. Some are way faster and others take longer. This is completely reliant on your immune system. 

HOW DO YOU APPLY IT?

Appy using a q-tip. Do not double dip the q-tip into the jar to avoid contamination. Apply a small amount on each spot. If you have a cluster of spots it’s okay to apply the one q-tip amount to the cluster, then wait for it to absorb. It should be a thin enough layer that absorbs well. If don't have a cluster apply them individually to avoid spreading.  

HOW OFTEN DO I APPLY IT?

This is a less is more approach. Start with one time a day. See how the body responds. Give it a couple of days. After that time frame, if nothing is happening or slightly moving then move to two times a day. Wait another couple of days and assess. If again it’s not moving as quickly as you hoped or at all, move to three times a day. We have some clients who respond immediately and only need to apply once every other day. Others have to move to four times a day. As soon as the immune system is responding you can apply less. We want to support the immune system without over stimulating it. 

HOW LONG UNTIL THE CORE COMES OUT?

This again is very personal and one thing to remember is not all cores come out. For some they get red, swollen and enlarged and never have a core come out. For others, the will do the same and get swollen and enlarged and within a few days the core will come out and the healing process for that bump begins. Both situations happen and both are okay!

DO I NEED TO COVER THEM WITH BANDAIDS?

We see this all over the internet about people who swear by covering them with bandaids. And if that works for you, then do it. If your child continues to touch them, then it may appropriate to cover them. But in general you don’t recommend covering them. You apply the cream and let it soak in.

WHAT IS THE RED PATCH AROUND THE MOLLUSCUM?

Over 39% of molluscum cases develop eczema, known as MC eczema.  This can cause red scaly patches around the lesions. If your child develops this we highly recommend using our Lush Skin Cream which was developed to soothe eczema skin. Keep in mind, if your child is prone to eczema there is higher likelihood of them having this.

WHY IS NOTHING WORKING FOR MY KID?

Sometimes we see cases where the child isn't responding to anything. From our experience these children have bigger issues going on in the body - even though you might not know it- causing daily inflammation. This can be from the environment or food intolerances or allergies. When this happens we highly recommend supporting your child's immune system from the inside out with additional support.
